presented to the audience, but implemented in a thoroughly
non-technical manner. It is adaptable for the non-licensed,
non-professional individual and is readily able to be
implemented during the course of training.
Dr. McDonald will provide hands on implementation of all
training concepts and modalities. All training programs and
materials are designed for effective use by any direct care

About
Skip McDonald PhD is a behavioral psychologist
specializing in developing clinical training programs for
individuals or healthcare providers in institutional or
residential care settings. He received his Ph.D. in 1982
from the University of Central California.
Dr. McDonald has been practicing in the field of mental
health and developmental disabilities for 25 years. His
experience includes individual clinical practice with acute
and chronic mental health clients, severe profoundly
developmentally disabled, deaf, blind, and autistic
adolescents and adults. He has designed and implemented
numerous successful clinical programs in both residential
and institutional settings.
In addition, Dr. McDonald has over 20 years of successful
experience in administrative management of a broad spectrum
of developmental, mental health, and medical rehabilitation
institutional and residential programs.
Dr. McDonald is based in Seattle, Washington.
